Following are few useful tips which will help you to clear PGIMER, Chandigarh:

  1. Be regular, thorough with all the subjects in studied in medical graduation.
  2. Focus on common medical problems, breakthrough in medical sciences and present trends.
  3. Be thorough, crystal clear about the various clinical, pre-clinical and para clinical subjects.
  4. PGIMER examination has a MCQ pool bank; and there remain fairly good chances of repetition of many MCQs of previous years. Every repeat question is a hot cake, which can fetch you more marks with less stress and saving time.
  5. Recommended to study rigorously for at least 4 to 5 months prior to appearing in the exam.
  6. Spend more time having more weightage in the exam pattern and define your weaknesses, work towards them and don’t shy away.
  7. There are many sources for updating one’s learnt knowledge by virtue of taking mock tests, self study PGIMER MCQs, fast track notes, quick repeated revisions of tables, algorithms, figures in text books of a given subject, blogs.
  8. Do self-evaluation tests; This becomes of immense importance to know one’s position of leaning at the National level compared to your competitors.
  9. Time management is important which can be learnt before attempting this competition by undertaking Mock tests and self evaluation tests.
  10. Marking too many answers or too less answers is going to detrimental. Try to be as accurate as possible. Only tick options which you are sure off.
